From Frustration to Freedom: Tiffany’s Transformation
From confused and frustrated to leaner, calmer, and confident; frustration to freedom!
I wanna share with you the results my client Tiffany got in the first 10 weeks of coaching.
First, I wanna share where Tiffany was at before we started.
She was not a beginner. In fact, she had been regularly working out for over 20 years. She had done many different workout programs, but would always seem to yo yo with her body weight and results.
She was going on walks every morning.
She was intermittent fasting.
She was tracking macros and eating around 1300-1400 calories per day.
Yet she was not seeing progress on the scale or in the mirror. She ended up reaching out after reading and watching my content on Instagram.
Whenever I have worked with clients who had similar experiences, I always ask the same question:
Are you always only eating 1300-1400 calories? Or do you just go that low when you are trying to lose weight and then stop tracking?
See, the truth is that most people make their weight loss diet too restrictive and that leads to a post weight loss diet that is way too lenient.
This is also where a fear based relationship with food is created and can really mess with your mindset when it comes to weight loss.
For Tiffany, this would lead to trying to offset poor diet habits with more exercise.
The thought process is “well, diet is too stressful, if I just workout more that should do it.”
Then this becomes “Well I workout so much, I should be able to eat whatever I want.” As cool as that would be, it simply doesn’t work like that.
So, when Tiffany started, I INCREASED her calorie goal to 1700-1900 calories.
I advised her to stop intermittent fasting.
And I condensed her workouts to 4 strength workouts per week.
Understandably, she was very nervous because this went against everything she had been led to believe about weight loss.
I explained to her that by increasing her calories and adding more carbs to her diet, it would:
- Create room for flexibility, meaning she could fit in some fun foods without guilt or fear.
- Give her more energy to push harder in her workouts (quality workouts are more important that quantity)
- Reduce sugar cravings because her body wouldn’t be carb depleted.
Tiffany took on the task and trusted the process.
We had great conversations about her relationship with food, and she faced her discomforts.
I also encouraged her to have 1-2 meals every week that were untracked and fun.
In 10 weeks, she dropped 12lbs!
Oh yea, and during that 10 weeks, she went away on vacation and celebrated several birthdays.
12lbs down in 10 weeks.

These results are not only impressive, but they are also just the beginning!
See, when you actually approach this whole nutrition and weight loss thing with a longterm mindset while building new habits, the results DO NOT go away.
That is the difference between the person who loses & gains the same 20-30lbs for decades, feeling defeated vs someone who drops the weight and changes the course of their life.
Tiffany has done amazing work and has become a longterm client that I am excited to support.
But Tiffany is not alone in this category.
My client Amanda is down almost 60lbs in 12 months and has completely changed her identity as well as created a base of habits she can pass on to her 2 kids.
My client Dee is down 50lbs and is in better shape in her 60s than she was in her 40s.
My client Mike is down 40lbs and is going into retirement healthier than he was 20 years ago.
My client Beth dropped 40lbs in 9 months and literally called coaching the best decision she has made for herself in her life.
My client Laurie is turning 51 and has visible abs!
My client Andrea dropped 8lbs of bodyfat and put on visible lean muscle after abandoning intermittent fasting and increasing her calories while cutting down her workout time so she has more free time to spend with her kids.
My client Jen dropped 20lbs after not seeing results working with a licensed dietician. Why? Because she actually learned skills and had support.
My client Alison dropped 25lbs with only 3 workouts per week. She also got her husband onboard with healthy lifestyle changes, which has reduced alcohol use and built a stronger bond with them and their daughter.
These are just some of the results that have happened in the last 12 months with clients. And I have been helping people for more than 10 years.
The approach works.
The process isn’t complicated.
If you have reservations about pursuing coaching, reach out and let me know what they are? Genuinely interested.
