Feeling Stuck? Why It’s a Sign You Need a Fitness Reset

This may come as a surprise to you, but, if you’re feeling stuck or not seeing progress with your weight or body, it’s a major red flag.

If your body isn’t responding the way you want it to… that’s not normal.

It probably feels like the new normal at this point, but it’s a sign that something needs your attention.

Most people unfortunately just accept “the way things are” as normal.

They believe that as you get passed age 30-35 that things are just supposed to slow down.

The thing is, your body is super efficient at adapting. It’s both a gift and a curse.

Reaching the weight loss goal or body goal you want is just an adaptation.

But guess what? Plateaus, burnout, or feeling stuck… those are also adaptations.

It’s your body screaming for a change.

Have you ever had one of those gut-check moments? The kind that feels like the universe is testing you?

I’ve been there.

I remember when I was obsessed with wanting to build muscle. I felt like I was trying so hard and working out more than all of my peers, yet I wasn’t noticing any change for months!

So, what did I do? I pushed harder. I started working out 6 days per week, 2-3 hours per session, and eating “cleaner.”

The result? I was burnt out and exhausted with nothing to show for it.

I finally gave in and actually listened to educated trainers and coaches and started eating more carbs, only doing 45-60 min workouts 3-4x per week and…..wow.

I started seeing progress!

By working out less and eating more carbs?

Once I broke out of the diet mindset & ditched the “all or nothing” approach I not only started building the body I wanted, but I enjoyed the process so much more.

Here’s the thing: It’s not normal to be stuck or miserable.

In fact, enjoying the process is key.

That was my lightbulb moment. I realized the feeling of being stuck wasn’t just part of the journey—it was a sign that I needed a change.

Feeling stuck isn’t necessary, and it’s definitely not something you have to endure.

That’s why when I work with clients in 1:1 coaching program, we start by identifying the real reasons you’re stuck.

I assess your current diet habits, workout habits, diet history, and most important, your stress level & lifestyle, to figure out exactly what will work for you and where the roadblocks are.

From there, it’s a matter of applying the right strategy that actually fits YOU.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, or improve your health—I’ve seen the results time and again.

And once you have the right plan, the results are predictable, repeatable, and more sustainable than ever.

The best part? I make sure the process works for you—not against you.

So if you’re tired of feeling stuck, it’s time to stop kicking and screaming at that locked door.

It’s time to grab the right set of keys.
