The REAL Reason Your Body Isn’t Changing
Did you know that I have been sending out 2-5 emails per week to my email list for 2 years?
Did you know I have recorded almost 150 hours worth of podcasts?
Did you know I have created over 2,000 social media posts?
Or that I have coached over 10,000 personal training sessions?
Each minute I spent doing any of those tasks was creating EVIDENCE that I can help people lose weight.
Evidence builds belief.
That evidence makes me believe in myself.
That evidence also helps people believe that I can help them.
Evidence is what your body & mind feed off of.
If your body hasn’t been changing, it is because you haven’t given it evidence that you want it to change!
Evidence is NOT thoughts or wishes.
Evidence is simple boring tasks done over & over.
Evidence is based on what you do MOST of the time.
Doing 8 week macro cycles twice per year is not evidence.
Evidence is what happens between those cycles.
Your LIFESTYLE is evidence, not the random diets you have tried,
Just like in a court case on Law & Order, you need evidence beyond a reasonable doubt!
Just saying “I need to lose weight” does not count.
This lack of evidence is what allows January motivation to fade and before you know it, it’s April and panic mode sets in that you haven’t gotten the results you wanted.
You can’t shock your body into changing fast.
Your body changes when you give it subtle hints over and over.
Eating enough protein each day.
Working out PROPERLY 3-4x per week.
Fueling with balanced meals instead of snacks.
Stimulating lean muscle building.
Constant hints.
You may or may not know that I recently bought my family a puppy.
He is a golden retriever that we named Benny.
In order to potty train Benny, we had to take him outside every 30-60 min to remind him that that is where he needs to go pee.
Whenever he did pee or poop outside, we gave him a treat.
This process done over and over allowed us to potty train him in 10 days.
Imagine if we had just kept shouting “GO OUTSIDE TO PEE!” every day.
No treats.
Not leading him outside.
No evidence.
Just shouting.
It wouldn’t have worked and we would have ended up working HARDER for LONGER.
This is how you treat fat loss!
You work too hard for too long because you are avoiding the simple, boring tasks that create evidence.
Imagine losing 20-30lbs in a few months instead of chasing it for decades.
That is what happens when you focus on building evidence.
