Why Fat Loss Is Way Easier Than You Think

A very common mistake I see women make is that they believe losing fat is extremely difficult and that the reason they can’t accomplish it is because there is a major issue or hurdle standing in their way.
The truth is that fat loss is way easier & simpler than you believe.
You are just trying to fix the wrong problems.
I want you to think of how you would deal with your whole house being engulfed in flames vs burning your steak and it sets off your smoke alarm.
These 2 problems have a similar premise (something got too hot), but MUCH different solutions.
Your house fire would be a big emergency.
You would be in fight or flight, call for help, and have months/years of consequential issues to deal with.
The burned steak, would be a simple solution of taking it off the burner, and airing out the kitchen.
Most women believe they have “house fire” problems when it comes to fat loss.
They think it’s their hormones, or their metabolism, or their genetics.
Some even seek out medical specialists to attempt to diagnose a possible issue that could be preventing them from losing fat.
This belief that they have a “house fire” problem actually causes them to do nothing to fix it!
How does that make sense?
If you believe you have a major issue, wouldn’t it trigger you to drop everything and attempt to fix it or hire someone to help?
The issue with this belief is that the problem feels so overwhelming that attempting to fix it yourself feels impossible.
If your house was on fire, you wouldn’t stand outside and throw cups of water at it right?
You would run away and wait for help.
But if the help never came, you would just sit and watch the house burn down.
This victim mentality causes women to feel like they cannot fix their issues, so years & months go by without action.
The truth is that you DON’T have a house fire!
You have burned steak problems aka small, fixable issues.
What are they?
- Not enough protein in your diet
- Not managing weekends
- Too many Orange Theory style classes
- Skipping meals
- Not supporting lean muscle
- “All or nothing” mindset
These are problems that can be solved with small, realistic habit changes and knowledge.
You don’t need a fire department.
You need a dish rag and an open window.
In my coaching, 90% of the work we do is fixing these small problems.
As you fix them, you build confidence.
This allows you to stay consistent, which leads to results.
Results pull you out of the victim mentality and empower you.
Fat loss is not an emergency medical issue.
It is a result of small habit changes and accountability.
